LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - No one was injured after a fire at an apartment in the Douglass Hills neighborhood.

According to Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS , the fire began around 1:11 p.m. on Sept. 29 in the 200 block of La Normandy Drive. Crews reportedly arrived within three minutes and found a two-story, multi-unit apartment building with smoke showing through the roof.

Officials said it took 30 firefighters 55 minutes to get control of the blaze. Four units closest to the fire had moderate to significant fire damage, while the other four units had smoke damage only.

According to the department, 16 people were displaced. No injuries were reported.

Officials said the fire appeared to be electrical in nature, but investigators are working to determine the exact cause.
