Familiar foes Tigers-Guardians meet again in playoffs: 'We know what to expect'

Cleveland — Here we go. It’s Detroit Tigers-Cleveland Guardians, Act V. The one where the curtain comes down for good on one of the two teams.

The familiar foes will open the wild-card series Tuesday at Progressive Field. Lefty ace Tarik Skubal will start for the Tigers, Gavin Williams for Cleveland. It will be the third time they’ve squared off against each other, most recently last Tuesday.
