RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - The mysterious disa purr ance of Francine, a beloved cat who lives at the Lowe’s on Broad Street, is a tail many Richmonders are invested in.

“What the heck Francine? Why did you get on that truck?” asked Elise Gilmore, one of the people behind the ‘Where’s Francine’ Instagram page which is dedicated to tracking down the famous feline.

Gilmore and Chas Nabi made an early morning drive to a Lowe’s distribution center in Garysburg, N.C., where they said a loading truck from the Broad Street store went with some catnip-loving cargo.

“We had a whistleblower on Reddit who works at the Lowe’s give us more information, saying that they checked the cameras and they actually saw her get on to the distribution truck,” Gilmore said.
