PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Buying a home remains out of reach for many people across the country, as rising prices and high mortgage rates continue to weigh on buyers.

Bankrate's latest survey found that many aspiring homeowners are discouraged from entering the market, citing frustration with costs and the overall economy.
