EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Did you know there's a local support group for survivors of heart disease?

"The Stents" have been gathering weekly for the past five years to share their stories.

The name of the support group highlights what the members have in common — each of them have received at least one stent.

There's no age limit to join the support group, though the majority of members are between the ages of 60 and 90.

In this week’s Street Stories Unpaved, hosts Johnny Villella and Mike Montecalvo sat down with Cliff Karten and Rick St. Saveur to discuss the group's formation and its benefits.
