FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A 39-year-old man was sentenced Monday for attempting to kill an employee of a car dealership in Fresno with a knife, the Fresno County District Attorney's Office said.

Manuel Bracker from Fresno was sentenced to a term of three years plus 14 years to life in prison.

The DA said the attack on an employee from Lithia Ford occurred on Oct. 26, 2022, outside of Target near Bullard and Blackstone avenues.

According to the DA, Bracker spotted the employee from across the street and entered the Target. When he entered the Target, he stole a knife and then walked to the dealership.
