EXETER, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Exeter Union High School is a top 25 finalist in T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights competition, with a chance to win $1 million to upgrade its athletic stadium and weight room.

"A new weight room by Gronk Fitness, an all-expense-paid trip for some of the administration to go celebrate at the SEC championship game this year. And they get an advisor for stadium renovation," said Michael Perreira, Rural Market Manager at T-Mobile.

From football, track, and even high school graduation, the Exeter Union Athletics Stadium has seen a lot of love.

"It is a unique experience being in a town that has one high school," said Andrew Montes, Athletic Administrator at Exeter Union High School.

Occasionally, they even lend the field to other high schools in need.
