STONE COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - Monday, Stone County Sheriff Todd Stewart announced the arrest of a woman who was driving under the influence and killed a man driving a golf cart.
Sheriff Haley said on Saturday, September 27, at 6:30 p.m., deputies were called to the area of King Bee Road for reports of a motor vehicle accident.
70-year-old Victor Farris was driving a golf cart when he was struck from behind by a Ford Bronco driven by Shannon Broadus.
Broadus was charged with DUI Causing Death. She is being held in the Stone County Jail.
