SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A giant rock in Springfield has been the talk of the town for the last two weeks.

It all started when popular Springfield pages began sharing photos of vehicles getting stuck while driving onto the rock. After a few rocky situations, more people have been contributing to the rock located on Campbell Road near Total Access Urgent Care and Walmart Marketplace.

Now, the rock has its own Facebook page, appropriately named "Springfield Rock Menace". The page has gained over 2,000 followers.

The rock is now painted yellow to help drivers avoid hitting it. People have now been taking pictures, leaving gifts, and even some folks are celebrating their wedding anniversaries.
