SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Layce Bruns has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school, and here’s how she’s done it.

“Time management and just applying yourself to your school work, and taking care of what you need to take care of,” said Layce

Time management comes into play for all of the things she does outside of the classroom as well.

“I’m in basketball, volleyball, high school rodeo, and 4H rodeo. And different 4H activities. Like I show sheep and cattle. I did the rodeo growing up, and my mom showed sheep and cattle growing up. So we were just raised into it, me and my siblings,” said Kayce.

“From academics to athletics. They live on a ranch, so she helps her family with that. She’s a great role model and leader, especially for our younger children. Someone to look up
