PULASKI COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - Illinois State Police confirm that multiple shootings are under investigation in Mounds.

ISP said investigators were requested around 11:36 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department to multiple locations in Mounds where the shootings took place.

Neither of the locations has been released at this time, but investigators said two male victims were injured and taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

81-year-old Henry Wade says he was released from the hospital on Monday afternoon after being shot on Sunday night.

Wade said he’s lucky to be alive after a bullet came flying through his bedroom wall, through a can of heavy-duty spray starch and into his left leg.

“The bullet is still in there,” said Wade.
