ARLINGTON, Texas (KETK)-- The Texas Rangers have announced that Bruce Bochy will no longer be the manager of the club going forward.

The Rangers' season concluded on Sunday and the team finished with an 81-81 record and failed to make a postseason appearance for the second year in a row. Bochy managed the Rangers for the past three years and concluded his tenure in Texas with a 249-237 record, along with leading the team to a World Series title in 2023.

According to Texas Rangers public relations, the decision for Bochy to no longer manage the Rangers was a mutual decision, and Bochy has been offered a role in the front office in an advisory capacity. It remains to be seen whether he will accept the position.
