LYNCHBURG, Tenn. (WKRN) — Jack Daniel's will no longer continue its Cow Feeder Program.

The Cow Feeder Program involved the sale of "stillage"— spent corn, rye and barley malt — made during the production of Jack Daniel's whiskey to area farmers so they could feed their cattle. A spokesperson for the Tennessee whiskey company cited a "new anaerobic digester facility" requiring a "high volume of spent grain" as the main reason to discontinue the program.
