DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (WKOW) -- The driver of a semitruck is expected to survive after their vehicle went off the road near Columbus and crashed into an outbuilding used to store farming equipment.

The crash happened on County Highway BB near Breyer Road, just before 4:20 p.m. Monday, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Troopers say the semi was going north on BB when the driver lost control, went into the southbound ditch, through a row of corn, then hit a six-foot wooden fence and the outbuilding.

No one was inside the outbuilding at the time.
