Four teenagers have been charged, with one let out on bail, following a police pursuit which ended at Melbourne ‘s Bourke St Mall.

An allegedly stolen BMW was driven erratically through the CBD and dumped in the shopping precinct just after 1pm on Monday.

Police began pursuing the car on the Eastern Fwy in Doncaster about 12.30pm, following it into the city where it allegedly struck a pedestrian on Exhibition St.

The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for observation.

Once the car was driven to the Bourke St Mall, four teenagers allegedly jumped out and ran off into Myer in a bid to evade police.

They were arrested a short time later inside the Emporium.
