Sacramento's immigration court has lost more of its judges following a wave of terminations that affected immigration courts nationwide in September.
The number of immigration judges has decreased by more than 100 across the country since the start of President Trump's current term.
"Most of the judges that have been terminated were hired between 2021 and 2024, and not all of them, but a lot of them are on their probationary period, which is two years," said Matt Biggs from the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFPTE).
