ARLINGTON, Texas — After three seasons and a World Series win, Bruce Bochy will not return as manager of the Texas Rangers next season, the team announced.

The Rangers released a statement Monday, announcing that Bochy and the team have "mutually agreed to end his managerial tenure with the organization." The franchise said Bochy has been offered a front office role with the team, but did not indicate a specific title — only that it would be in an advisory capacity.

Bruce Bochy has been with the Texas Rangers since the 2023 season, when he helped coach the team to its first-ever World Series win. During his tenure in Arlington, he's garnered a 249-237 (.512) record.
