LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

It looked like Louisville was going to drop its first game of the season this past weekend when Pitt took a 17-0 lead after the first quarter and was up by 10 at halftime. But Jeff Brohm and the Cards held the Panthers to zero points in the second half and mounted a comeback for a 34-27 win to stay undefeated on the season.

With their first ACC and road game out of the way, the Cards return home to host No. 24 Virginia, which is coming off a 46-38 upset over then No. 8 Florida State.

Despite being unranked, the Cardinals are 7.5-point favorites heading into Saturday's matchup with the Cavaliers.
