WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) -- At its Monday meeting, Warren City Council's Traffic Committee discussed the future of Dana Street, which has been closed since 2016 at the request of AUTOParkit owner Christopher Alan.
Alan addressed the committee and explained why the street should remain closed. After the meeting, Alan told First News that if council votes to reopen Dana Street, he will close his business and move it elsewhere.
As for why the street should remain closed, Alan pointed to his most recent investment of $20,000 in landscaping and how what was Packard Electric is now being used.
"We're trying to be a good company for the city," Alan said.
He claims opening Dana Street will lead to more vandalism.
