LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A shooting at an apartment complex in Okolona has left two people dead on Monday.

Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) responded to a shooting in the 9000 block of Napa Valley Court around 10:15 a.m.

LMPD Public Information Officer John Bradley said when officers arrived on scene, witnesses directed police to an apartment where several gunshots were heard from.

Inside the apartment, LMPD found two men dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Witnesses told police they saw multiple suspects leave the area on foot after the shooting.

The victims’ identities, including their ages, are unknown at this time, however Bradley said they look to be in their late teens.
