It was just a few years ago that Sale Creek didn't even have a stadium to call home. The Panthers are still a relatively new school and their football program has yet to gain traction. Then Jason Fitzgerald was hired in early 2023.

Fitzgerald is no stranger to success. He's had it with just about every program he's coached. Sale Creek is the latest.

The Panthers are off to their best start in school history with a 5-0 record as the calendar flips to October. The community believes this is no flash in the pan either. The proof is in the numbers.

Between their middle and high school teams, there are 82 students who play football. Not too shabby for a 1A program.

Not to mention, their middle school program is 6-0 and just wrapped up their third straight Hamilton County championship.
