Up until a few years ago, trash was picked up twice a week, but after services were reduced to once a week, some residents are frustrated because their bills look the same.

"The unfortunate issue has been, we are still paying for twice a week without any explanation as to why,” said Alonzo Knox.

It's a renewed push for answers, after the City reduced trash services in 20-21, but residents say their bills have not changed.

"That's unacceptable. Nowhere else in the United States do you pay for something and don't get the service in return,” said Knox.

State Rep. Alonzo Knox sent a letter to the Capitol, requesting the Legislative Auditor and Attorney General review the City's trash collection fees.
