ARLINGTON, Va. — Two Clarendon businesses are picking up the pieces, literally, after an early morning vandalism spree, just days before one of them was set to open.

Around 4 a.m. Sunday, someone threw rocks through the front doors and windows of Oasis The Listening Bar , a recently opened restaurant and Glowbar on Clarendon Boulevard.

"This is heartbreaking because we open for only two months," said owner Tammie Disayawathana.

Disayawathana said the suspect used nearby rocks to break the glass.

"He used rocks from right here and throw it to the door," she said. "This door, on the video he like punched."

Surveillance video shows the suspect repeatedly throwing rocks at the front of the building before officers arrived.
