Tyreek Hill’s stomach-churning injury on Monday night resurrected memories of the sideline official who had his leg blown up by Alvin Kamara nearly two years ago.

The incident was particularly notable because Kamara got up and walked away.

The New Orleans Saints running back collided with chain gang member Nick Piazza during a game against the Detroit Lions in December, 2023, resulting in a dislocated right knee, fractured fibula, torn ligaments, and cartilage damage.

Alvin Kamara was shoved out of bounds by a Lions defender and ran into Piazza, who had to be stretchered off the field. While the star RB didn’t pay him much attention on the sideline, he later signed a football and a jersey for the official.
