EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Two local high school coaches received honors from the Colts for their efforts this past week!

First, in flag football, Mater Dei Head Coach Tara Schnur was named the Colts Flag Football Coach of the Week.

The Wildcats are 6-0 on the season and earned more wins last Thursday against Castle and Mater Dei.

On the boy’s side, Gibson Southern’s Nick Hart was chosen as the Colts Coach of the Week.

The Titans just defeated Class 4A Number 1 Heritage Hills on Friday in a wild 38-34 showdown.

His win halted an 18-game win streak for Heritage Hills. Congrats to both coaches!
