LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The monsoon season proved to be somewhat dry for Southern Nevada in 2025.
In comparison, Death Valley has received more rain than Las Vegas over the past two monsoon seasons, according to 8 News Now Tedd Florendo.
In 2024, Las Vegas set a record high of 120°F during the monsoon; however, it never got above 112°F in 2025.

Back in 2023, the monsoon season was very active with a season total of 2.88", making it the ninth wettest on record.
A normal annual rain total would range around 3.00."
