A bar where ten people died in a horrifying helicopter crash has been robbed by sneak thieves. ‌

Staff at the Clutha in Glasgow's Stockwell Street discovered the break-in when they turned up for work on Saturday morning. While the bar was closed overnight the robbers had forced open a door to the rear of the premises before stealing money from the till. ‌

Clutha owner Alan Crossan yesterday described the theft as despicable and said the loss of the cash and cost of repairs will impact on the vital charity work done through the pub's Clutha Trust. The Trust was set up in 2014 in memory of those who died in November 29, 2013. In recent years it has provided struggling families in Glasgow with money towards their fuel bills and hot meal
