Pakistan have batted like schoolboys

Waqar Younis was livid — and rightly so. Pakistan collapsed like amateurs in the Asia Cup final against India. At 113 for one in just 12.4 overs, they looked set for dominance. What followed was nothing short of embarrassing: nine wickets gone for 33 runs in 39 balls. The grit of Fakhar Zaman and Sahibzada Farhan was shredded by a lineup that looked clueless under pressure.

The Asia Cup turned into more of a theatre of antics than a battle of cricket. Pakistan made it a circus with their on-field mischief — Haris Rauf flashing his infamous ‘6-0’ gesture , Sahibzada Farhan pointing his bat like a rifle. All noise, no cricket. When the time came to deliver, they imploded.
