A set of incomplete skeletal remains, including a human skull, was recovered near a busy Queens strip mall Monday afternoon, just a week after city sanitation workers found a woman’s torso in a trash bag during a cleanup in the same borough.
A skull, hip bone and leg bone were found at 134-01 20th Ave. in College Point, according to a preliminary NYPD investigation.
The site, just behind a chain link fence, is across from a sprawling parking lot lined with popular stores like ShopRite, Target, HomeGoods and TJ Maxx. 4
