Local officials have scheduled another public input session regarding the future of the Erie Coke property on the city’s east bayfront.
What’s being called a “future concepts open house” is planned for Oct. 8, starting at 4 p.m., at the Erie-Western Pennsylvania Port Authority’s offices at 1 Holland St.
Port Authority officials said they will be seeking public feedback on the eventual redevelopment of the nearly 200-acre Erie Coke property, located at the foot of East Avenue.
Port Authority officials said the Oct. 8 event will highlight various potential redevelopment approaches for the property, which were developed based on previous public input sessions.
Those unable to attend the session can view it online a short time after it concludes at www.porterie.org/eriecoke.
