A serious road accident occurred on Monday evening involving the vehicle of Odisha’s Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Minister Rabi Narayan Naik, leaving two bike riders injured—one critically.

The incident took place near Balma village in Deogarh district, where the Minister was en route to attend a Durga Puja celebration. According to reports, two residents of Bhalumunda village, identified as Digambar Pradhan and Pradeep Palei, were heading to the same venue on a motorcycle when they collided with the rear of the Minister’s vehicle.
