New Delhi: Some parts of the national capital and adjoining cities received light rainfall on Tuesday morning, bringing much needed respite from the hot and sultry weather conditions. The IMD has forecast light rainfall in the region during the day.

As per IMD, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 28.7 degrees Celsius, which is 5.4 notches above normal. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature is likely to settle around 35 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The rainfall was accompanied by thunderstorm.
