New Delhi: A full emergency was declared at the Delhi airport on Tuesday morning after a bomb threat was received by an IndiGo flight from Mumbai. The aircraft was searched thoroughly after passengers deboarded, but nothing suspicious was detected.

Flight 6E 762 had 200 passengers on board and security agencies found the threat to be non-specific, authorities said. ADVERTISEMENT

Operated with an Airbus A321neo aircraft, the flight took off from Mumbai at 5.51 am. It is not known exactly when or how the threat was received but the Delhi airport was on full alert when it came in to land at 8.11 am.
