Plymouth's Apple Fest was the first taste of fall festivals across North Iowa this year.
Visitors of the event could follow the line of treats and trinkets all the way down Main Street to Old School Park, as vendors had set up shop there.
Vendors included apple-based treat makers and a wide variety of handmade items. Halloween lanterns at the booth of Bulletproof Woodworking tempted passersby with their spooky faces. Crochet and knitted baubles and bags were available and unique jewelry designs were on display.
In the park, inflatables were set up for kids, and air tinsel and face painting booths drew the likes of Zoe Francis and her friend Olivia Benson. The pair were decked out in Halloween style with one's face painted as a jack-o-lantern and the other a black cat.
