Thousands of sci-fi and fantasy fans descended on East Kilbride town centre at the weekend to get a glimpse of some of the galaxy’s biggest stars. ‌

The local showcase featured a host of cosplay characters with a first joint appearance from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow. ‌

Other headliners included Spider-Man and Venom, Deadpool, SpongeBob and Transformers Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. ‌
