DENVER (KDVR) — Fort Collins' city attorney is dismissing nearly 500 speeding citations that were mailed out earlier this month without vehicle and violation information printed on them.

The 477 citations came from a single camera radar unit located in the 800 block of West Prospect Road, according to a press release from the Fort Collins Police Services. The citations were mailed between Sept. 4 and 17.

Police said when they found out the issue, they contacted the vendor, Verra Mobility, which then sent corrected copies of the citations, apparently to the dismay of the people who received them.
