The National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) on Tuesday issued a clarification over recent media reports alleging recruitment-related irregularities at its corporate office following a visit by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

In its official statement, NALCO described reports suggesting a ‘raid’ and ‘seizure of documents’ as misleading and factually incorrect. The company clarified that the visit by CBI officials was part of a routine verification process, initiated in response to an unverified complaint, and aimed solely at reviewing the recruitment procedures followed by the organisation.
