(WHTM) — Over 300,000 child car seats are being recalled.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the Evenflo Company is recalling 324,997 Gold Revolve360 Slim and Revolve360 Slim child seats manufactured between December 1, 2022, and December 8, 2024.

The NHTSA says the headrest foam is not properly secured, which can allow the child to pick off pieces of the foam, which can present a choking hazard and increase the risk of injury or death.

The NHTSA says 100% of these products that were manufactured and sold are being recalled. Evenflo will mail owners additional tape seal and installation instructions, free of charge.
