Pre-qualifying success first step in pro golf career for Bermuda Dunes' John Kim

John Kim at 16 years old might have had trouble believing what John Kim at 26 is doing in golf.

“I don’t think I would have believed it,” said Kim, a former golfer at Palm Desert High School and College of the Desert who played his way out of a Korn Ferry pre-qualifying tournament at La Quinta Country Club last week. “But I always had a dream of trying to make it to the tour. So I never gave up.”
