QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – The N, R and W subway trains are suspended between Manhattan and Queens on Tuesday due to a track fire in a tunnel, according to the MTA.
R trains will run on the Q line between 57th Street-7th Avenue and Lexington Avenue-63rd Street, then on the F line to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue.
There is limited shuttle bus service between Queensboro Plaza and Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard.
The MTA encourages straphangers to take the No. 7, E, F or M train for service between the two boroughs.
