Some will use their recreation time this weekend to go see Jim Sheridan's new movie, Re-creation , about the Sophie Toscan du Plantier murder – and emerge confused.

It's fiction about fact, an artistic impression of the actual and brutal. Which is not to say it isn't valid, but there are natural tensions within any treatment of the truth.
