TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- The University of South Florida has narrowed down its search for a new president.
Moez Limayem, the current president of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, was named as the sole finalist recommended by the USF Board of Trustees on Tuesday.
A release from USF described Limayem as "an accomplished, energetic and passionate higher education leader with deep ties to USF and the Tampa Bay region." Before joining UNF in 2022, he was Lynn Pippenger Dean of the Muma College of Business at USF for 10 years.
