New Delhi: Top seeded Jannik Sinner claimed his 11th straight career match against Alex de Minaur advancing to the final of the China Open on Tuesday. This is for the third straight time that the Italian tennis player has booked his berth in the finale of the tennis tournament.

He will play his final against either Daniil Medvedev or Learner Tien who engage in the second semifinal of the tournament late on Tuesday. Sinner’s 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 victory over Minaur earned him a ninth straight final at the hard-court tournaments. The number second ranked Sinner dropped a set to the number eight ranked played for just the second time in his career.
