TAWAS CITY – Along with an original charge of homicide–attempted murder, the two additional felony counts which were later tacked on to Sandra Dawn Jackson’s case, were all addressed during her Sept. 22 pre-trial.
This is when the 49-year-old Oscoda resident made her first appearance before Judge David C. Riffel, at the Iosco County 23rd Circuit Court in Tawas City.
Represented by Attorney Justin Wilson, Jackson arrived in person for the hearing, while Wilson participated remotely on Zoom.
Riffel started by reciting the three counts Jackson is currently facing, all of which are felonies, as well as the maximum possible penalties associated with each.
