NFL officials have announced a significant change to their 2025 broadcast schedule.

CBS are set to make a major adjustment after just four weeks of NFL action.

The league has decided to flex its first fixture of the 2025 season on October 12.

It has been revealed that the New England Patriots ' visit to face the New Orleans Saints has been pushed into an early slot.

This game was due to take place at 4:25 pm ET.

Instead, it has been pushed into the 1:00 pm kickoff slot.

The San Francisco 49ers ' away game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take its place.

This was originally scheduled for the earlier kickoff.

It is understood that this decision has been made because of the teams' current forms.
