NORMAL, Ala. (WHNT) — Alabama A&M is asking students, faculty, and staff to stay clear of the JF Drake LRC area after the university received a bomb threat.
AAMU made a post on X regarding the threat, saying university officials and safety authorities are aware and the situation is being investigated.
"ALERT: University officials and safety authorities are aware of a bomb threat received by Alabama A&M University. Students, faculty, and staff please stay clear of the JF Drake LRC area as the situation is investigated. Please monitor Bulldog Alerts and campus emails for further information and updates," the university said.
Anyone who is not on campus is asked to stay safe where they are.
