LONDON, Ky. (WKYT) - A southern Kentucky mayor is back in office after a judge overturned his impeachment.
Randall Weddle is once again the mayor of London.
A city council voted to impeach him, Weddle appealed, and a circuit judge ruled in his favor.

From his office in City Hall, London Mayor Randall Weddle says he’s glad to be back, but says there is a lot of work to do. There have been a series of transitional seasons, but now Weddle says disagreements need to be put to rest so the city can move forward.
A daylong hearing on Sept. 5 resulted in the city council impeaching Weddle and naming another mayor. However, Weddle appealed, and Circuit Judge David Williams ruled that there was not sufficient evidence to warrant impeach
