We will kick off October just like we ended September, warm and dry.

September 30th will be the fifth straight day with no precipitation at the Youngstown Warren Regional Airport, and we likely will string together at least another five days with no recordable rainfall.

If we put together ten straight days with no rainfall at the airport, it would be just the 12th time in recordable history at the airport that we have put together two ten-plus-day dry stretches in the same month, and only the third time that's occurred in September.

After another warm afternoon where temperatures will peak in the low 80s, Tuesday evening remains clear and comfortably cool with temperatures dropping to the upper 40s on Wednesday morning.
