LODA, Ill. (WCIA) -- The water is currently shut off, and a boil order has been issued for a dozen homes in one Loda community.

ERH Enterprises announced in a release Tuesday morning that a boil order has been issued for parts of the Lake Iroquois Association Community. This is affecting five homes on the cul-de-sac on Navaho Lane and eight homes on Dakota Drive.

ERH Enterprises told WCIA that the boil order was put into effect following a nearby water leak. Due to the loss of water pressure, the water in this area is currently shut off.

ERH said if things "go smoothly," the water will be restored sometime today, and the boil order will be lifted tomorrow at some point. They said the water needs to be tested before the boil order is lifted.
