BRONX, N.Y. (WPRI) — If you're planning to make the trip to the Bronx for the Wild Card Series between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees, Ticketmaster is limiting who can buy tickets.

New England residents who live anywhere except Connecticut will not be able to buy a ticket through Ticketmaster. If you try to, the following message appears on the screen:

"Yankee Stadium is located in Bronx, New York. Sales to this event will be restricted to residents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Residency will be based on credit card billing address. Orders by residents outside New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania will be canceled without notice and refunds given."
